Golf - East Places 5th in District 1; Warden qualifies for Region

The Patriot golf team competed yesterday in the District I AAA golf tournament yesterday at the Country Club of Bristol. The East golfers finished fifth out of nine teams but fell short of qualifying for the next stage. Kyle Warden, a junior, carded a round of 75 for the day and that score was good enough to put him in as one of five individuals who did qualify to play in the Region I AAA tourney being played next Monday also at the CCB. The results for the rest of the Patriots were: David Tedder - 80; Ryan Harrington - 87; Jason Nave - 87; and Collin McCord - 89. Congratulations Kyle and good luck next week!
